- 09/10/2025: Amendment 1 is posted. This amendment removes the set-aside. The procurement is now unrestricted. Also, adds requirement that the site visit on 09/15/25 is MANDATORY. Please see amendment for details. 09/09/2025: The solicitation for this requirement is posted. There are ten attachments to the solicitation. IMPORTANT DATES: Site Visit: 09/15/25 at 9:00 AM EST, located at the Bay Pines VAMC (specific location in RFP) RFIs Due: 09/17/25 at 10:00 AM EST Proposals Due: 10/03/25 at 10:00 AM EST This project is considered urgent; extensions to the proposal due date will not be made. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238120 - Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors. MANDATORY POP: There is a mandatory period of performance of 90 days for this project. PROJECT TITLE: Bid Build (BB) Install Temp Shoring in Crawl Space at Building 1 (Structural Repairs), Project No. 516-23-604 CONTRACT TYPE: Bid Build (BB), Firm Fixed Price PROJECT SUMMARY: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary for the following work: Bid-Build project to provide structural repairs of critical areas in the crawl and basement space of Building 1. Repairs, temporary shoring during construction and special inspections from a Florida PE Certified Special Inspector are required for this project. Project is located at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL 33744. Period of performance is 90 days from Notice to Proceed.
