- Good day, SDVOSB s, VOSB s & SB's This Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only.� It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.� The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified SB businesses.� This is not a request for bids, quotes, offers, or proposals. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic status such as a SDVOSB set-aside if feasible.� If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received to establish the basis for setting this requirement aside for SDVOSB s, the requirement may be solicited as a VOSB or a SB set aside in which case all interested parties responding shall be eligible to compete. Please provide your capability statement,� I will accept responses for this Sources Sought until the 13th of October 2025 10:00am, thanks. 1.GENERAL: The Lee County VA Healthcare Center requires the replacement of three (3) electric steam generators due to extensive internal corrosion that has compromised their structural and functional integrity. These steam generators are essential to the operation of the facility s sterile processing equipment. Continued use of the deteriorated equipment poses significant risk to the sterilization process and introduces the potential for critical disruption to patient care and surgical operations. EMERGENT timely replacement is necessary to mitigate risk to life safety, prevent operational downtime, and preserve compliance with VA health and safety standards. SCOPE: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to remove three (3) existing electric steam boilers and install three (3) new stainless steel electric steam boilers at the Lee County VA Healthcare Center, Cape Coral, FL.All work shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), OSHA, NFPA, and VA Technical Information Library (TIL) standards location 2489 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Demolition and Removal Remove three (3) existing Sussman Model ESB-180 steel electric steam boilers and all associated piping, controls, and electrical components. Ensure all removals are conducted safely and in accordance with federal disposal and VA environmental compliance standards. EQUIPMENT SUPPLY: Provide three (3) new Sussman Model SSB-180kW Electric Steam Boilers with stainless steel wetted components. Each boiler shall meet the following specifications: Output: 542 lbs/hr @ 212°F Operating Pressure: 80 psi MAWP: 100 psi Power: 460V / 3-Phase / 60Hz Certifications: ASME Section I, UL Listed, CSD-1 Compliant
