Description
This is a notice of intent for the award of a single source purchase order under the authority of RFO 12.102(a). The United States Air Force intends to award a single source purchase order to Techno Co., Ltd. for the relocation of the existing 24/7 Access Control and Surveillance System from Potter Fitness Center (BLDG 622) to BLDG 620 and the Community Commons (BLDG 1006) at Misawa Air Base Japan. This contract is a follow-on service to contract no. FA520525P0074 for the installtion of 24/7 security system at building 973. Integration of the 24/7 security system hub at building 620, provided by Techno Co., Ltd. under contract no. FA520525P0074, cannot be completed until the relocation, including the fiber optic installation from building 622 to building 620, is compete. Due to the nature of the requirement, Techno Co., Ltd. is the only responsible vendor capable of relocating and integrating all 24/7 facility access systems at buildings 620, 1006, and 973 at misawa AB Japan. The anticipated period of performance will be 30 days from the date of award. This is a notice of intent to award a single source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after the date of publication of this notice. Entities who want to challenge the single source must submit a letter of intent that demonstrates your company�s ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered.
