- The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source RFO FAR 12.201-1 to obtain services from Ronco Specialized Systems, Inc , for the final installation to integrate both Ronco and Vocera systems for the Northport , NY facility. Period of performance: Estimated to begin on 05/01/2026 Basic description of the requirement: This project involves integrating the Rauland Responder Enterprise nurse call system with the existing Vocera communication platform at Northport VA Medical Center. The integration will enable nurse call events to be delivered to clinical staff via Vocera badge devices, improving workflow efficiency and response times. Place of Performance: Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Rd, Northport, Ny 11768 The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors Intended Source: Ronco Specialized Systems Inc , 84 Grand Island Blvd,Tonawanda, NY 14150-6604 UEI: H23JSLS8LTJ3 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by April 10th, 2026 at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Ronco Specialized Sytems Inc. in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned.
