- This procurement is for Motor Engine Starter. This proposed solicitation is intended to result in the award of a single contract for the estimated supplies specified. This action will be restricted to any small businesses that are authorized distributors for Caterpillar Inc. (CAGE 11083) The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. The Government does intend to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition. Procurement is a Small Business Set Aside Noun: Motor Engine Starter NSN: 2920-01-460-0271 P/N: 207-1516 Notes: We expect to post the solicitation in 2 to 4 weeks. Technical Data Package: A link to the TDP will be available when the solicitation is released. ""CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a mailing list. The burden is therefore on any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the proposal.
