Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract as a sole source to Carahsoft Corp (CAGE CODE: 1P3C5), for the procurement of VCF-CLD-FND-A -- VMware Cloud Foundation AnnualBSO 19 � and ANS-VMW-FW-B -- VMware vDefend Firewall (Bundle) in support of the NAWCAD Lakehurst, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ 08733. VMWare is required for continued operations for the digital infrastructure used by test and engineering across the command. This requirement is a component of the Department of War (DoW) Enterprise Service Initiative (ESI), a mandatory source per DFARS 208.7402. . Carahsoft is the only company currently listed on the ESI website for VMWare (4VRA5). THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email no later than 21 April 2026 at 12:00P.M. EDT to Danielle Russo at danielle.m.russo4.civ@us.navy.mil. Content should be limited to ten (10) pages.
