- Looking for sources capable of providing the following requirement. For more information, please reference the Source Approval Program located at: https://tacom.army.mil/ombudsman NSN: 6605-01-578-7163 Item Name: Inertial Navigation Unit (INU with case) Part Number: 13023681, 13050773 Quantity: Min: 18 EA, Max: 438 EA Response Date: April 21, 2026 The proposed action is to award a new 5 Year Long Term Contract for Inertial Navigation Unit. This item is a sourcecontrolled item (sole source) to Honeywell Inc (CAGE Code: 0BFA5). The Government does not have the pertinent technical data including additional detailed drawings for this item or dimensions for its manufacturing necessary for competitive procurement. Honeywell Inc is the only source that has the requisite technical and engineering expertise to perform all efforts required to provide Inertial Navigation Units that meet design space requirements and Critical Item Product Function Specification for Inertial Navigation Unit. Please Note: This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). -Technical data is available for this item. -Qualification testing and evaluation is required to become an approved source. -Source approval does not guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
