- The 18th Contracting Squadron (18CONS) will be hosting an Industry Day for an anticipated requirement for Grounds Maintenance services at Multiple Installations across Okinawa, Japan. This notice is intended to inform industry partners of the event and to identify any interested parties. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide a forum for the Government to share information regarding this significant future requirement and to better understand the capabilities of the marketplace. By reviewing lessons learned from previous contracts, including operational challenges and limitations, we aim to collaboratively refine the acquisition strategy for this effort. This interactive session will allow potential offerors to ask preliminary questions and provide valuable feedback. Topics will include the contract's objectives, potential scope, and the anticipated timeline for the official solicitation. This is a valuable opportunity for industry partners to help shape this future requirement and learn about the unique operational needs for providing grounds maintenance services on large-scale military installations. - Event Details & Registration The specific date, time, and location for the Industry Day are listed below (tentative dependent on vendor participation). Date: Wednesday, 27 May 2026 Time: 0900-1100 JST Location: Jack's Place at the Rocker Annex - Base Access Information Vendors will require base access to attend. An Entry Authorization List (EAL) will be used. To be included on the EAL, vendors will be required to submit the following information for each attendee on 'Attachment 1 - EAL for Attendees': Name of Attendee (Last Name, First Name) Gender DOB (YYYYMMDD) Citizenship Country of Birth ID Number Once completed, please turn the completed document into a PDF. - Express Your Interest The Government is seeking to identify interested vendors at this time. All businesses with the capability to perform large-scale grounds maintenance services are encouraged to express their interest by sending an email to the Point of Contact listed below. Please include the Notice ID in the subject line of your team's email, '18CONS-GROUNDSMX-26-001', to ease the admin burden on my office. In the email, include your company name,a capabilities statement (preferably in a document or PDF), and a primary contact.
