- Sources Sought Notice 2026-SPRDL126R0093 Item Name: Transfer Transmission NSN: 2520-01-469-9893 Government Part No: (19207) 57K3505 Minimum Guaranteed Quantity: 63 EA Estimated Maximum 3-year Quantity: 945 EA End Item: High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) The Government will provide a Technical Data Package (TDP) when available. The Transfer Transmission Assembly is a drivetrain component for the HMMWV. This assembly functions as a secondary gearbox that directs power from the engine and main transmission to both the front and rear axles of the vehicle. This distribution of power is what enables the HMMWV's four-wheel-drive capability. The transfer case allows the driver to switch between different gear ranges. Please note the following: *This notice is not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). *Qualification testing and evaluation are required to become an approved source. *Source approval does not guarantee business. *Qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
