- The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Base Support Branch (AFLCMC/PZIBB) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH intends to award a sole source contract to: Belton-Stroup Funeral Home Inc. 422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Road Fairborn, Ohio 45324 This requirement is a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a period of performance of five (5) years for the acquisition of Mortuary Services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial BPA and carried out as a sole source action (not competitively awarded). This authority is supported by an approved Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 812210, Funeral Homes and Funeral Services. This NAICS code has a small business size standard of $12.5 Million. The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Force Support Squadron (FSS), located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), has a solemn and urgent requirement for comprehensive mortuary services. These services are essential to ensure the dignified and respectful care of fallen active-duty military personnel, and other eligible individuals as directed, for whom WPAFB has disposition responsibility. The nature of this requirement is unpredictable and requires a contractor capable meeting the needs of the Department of Defense (DoD) upon notification of a death. The contractor�s performance is vital to the government�s ability to fulfill its sacred obligation to the fallen and their families. The successful execution of these services directly supports the morale, welfare, and readiness of the force by ensuring that service members and their next of kin are supported with the highest level of care and compassion in their time of greatest need. Belton-Stroup Funeral Home Inc. is the only vendor to meet the Government�s requirement of mortuary services for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Force Support Squadron (FSS), as they provide all the performance requirements listed within the PWS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 21 April 2026 @ 10:00AM EST will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes.
