- *amendment 00001 adds two small business clauses mistakenly left off list of clauses/provisions* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued�. Solicitation number N0040626Q0052 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for the fabrication of a total of one each of five different Propellor and Stern Tube sleeves. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. Evaluation: The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, represents the best value to the Government, price, delivery, technical acceptability, and past performance, considered in no particular order. The deadline for submission of questions regarding the solicitation's terms, conditions, and/or specifications is 1 day prior to the solicitation's closing date. Submit via email, to the Contracting Official; homer.o.shoup.civ@us.navy.mil 1 days prior to solicitation closing date. Questions received after this deadline may not be answered. NAICS: 336611 Size Standard: 1,300 employees See attached solicitation for: A list of line-item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure A detailed description of the items to be fabricated A list of all applicable provisions and clauses Anticipated Award Date: April/May 2026 FOB Point: Destination Delivery and Acceptance: Yokosuka, Japan Requested Delivery: 9/14/2026 ""EXCEPTIONS: All quoters MUST note all exceptions from the solicitation's terms, conditions, specifications, and/or the statement of work / performance work statement, if any. It will be assumed that any quote without mention of any exceptions will take no exception from all specifications, terms and conditions, clauses, or provisions within the solicitation."" Drawing, references and TGIs will not be provided be furnished as part of this solicitation due to distribution restrictions. Drawings, references and TGIs are available to quoters listed on the Joint Certification Program (JCP) website. Quoters may request these by providing their CAGE code and DD-2345 for their data custodian to the acquisition point of contact below.
