Description
QA Set 1 Q1. Can the Government provide historical transportation volumes from the previous contract period, broken down by service type (Wheelchair, BLS, ALS, CCT, and SCT)? A1. There is no incumbent contractor. Price Schedule states all quantities are estimate 5-year quantities. � Q2. Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services? If so, would the Government be able to identify the incumbent contractor? A2. There is no incumbent contractor. � Q3. Approximately what percentage of transportation requests are wheelchair transports versus ambulance transports? A3. Price Schedule states all quantities are estimate 5-year quantities. � Q4. Which facilities or service locations historically generate the highest transportation volume under this contract? A4. The contract is for New Castle County and surrounding areas as stated in the PWS. This data is not available at this time. � Q5. What percentage of transportation requests are same-day or urgent requests compared to scheduled transports? A5. VA does not track or project this information. Same-day and add-on requests occur as needed and vary based on beneficiary needs. � Q6. Have there been any significant performance challenges under the current or previous contract that offerors should consider when developing their technical approach? Q6. There is no incumbent contractor. Offerors should address quality control in accordance with the requirements in the PWS and propose an approach that ensures compliance with all performance standards. � Q7. Are electronic trip records, GPS-supported trip verification, and electronic reporting preferred methods for documenting transportation services and invoicing? A7.
