- Marine Corps Installations East intends to procure Big Top Shelters outlined below, on a sole source basis from Big Top Manufacturing, LLC. in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul Part 5.301. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 314910 with 500 emp. size standard. Usage of a less capable provider in place of Big Top Manufacturing, LLC. would result in significant negative operational impacts to MCAS Beaufort. There is a exisiting shelter that requires side panel sets, hot dip galvanization and additional resources. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notice to the Contracting Officer in the form of a capability statement. Supporting evidence in sufficient detail that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirement listed must be furnished to the point of contact listed below by 30 October 2026.
