- Sources Sought Notice Number: W912HV27Z1CPE Project: Vehicle Maintenance Shop, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District, intends to include brand name or equivalent product descriptions for exterior and interior finishes in the pending construction project solicitation W912HV27RA001 for a Vehicle Maintenance Shop and Support Facilities to be built at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. The Justification will be posted with the Solicitation in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) 6.301(b)(2). This project is limited to local sources licensed to perform construction work in Japan. Interested sources may submit provide feedback on the use of brand name or equivalent product descriptions in Drawing Sheet A-200 Exterior Finish Schedule and Sheet A-621 Material Finish Schedule (attached). Comments shall be submitted to Contract Specialist Erica Stiner at erica.j.stiner@usace.army.mil and Contracting Officer H. Christine Allen at Heather.C.Allen@usace.army.mil by 2:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on 7 October 2026.
