Description of Requirement Independent Ventilated Cage Systems (IVC) 5. Justification for Sole Source Award In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2) this contract was awarded on a sole source basis because proprietary highly specialized service with no substitutes manufactured exclusively by Allentown, LLC. No other vendor manufactures, distributes, or services this specific system. Allentown, LLC is the only known source capable of fulfilling this requirement without causing unacceptable delays, duplication of costs, or compatibility issues with existing infrastructure. 6.
