(612) 370-2115 Under the U.S. Grain Standards Act the U.S. Department
of Agriculture (USDA), the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards
Administration (GIPSA) formerly known as the Federal Grain Inspection
Service (FGIS) provides deoxynivalenol (DON) testing of wheat and other
commodities. This notice announces that GIPSA intends to acquire
quantitative DON test kits needed to analyze a minimum of 1500 samples
per year. The contract period will be from date of award through
September 30, 1995, with up to four one year options. Offered
quantitative test methodologies must have a GIPSA Certificate of
Conformance and shall be capable of analyzing deoxynivalenol (DON) in
wheat and as many of the following commodities as possible: barley,
malted barley, corn and oats. Fixed price requirements contract for
GIPSA and other official inspection agencies. Total Government costs
shall include fixed and variable costs, including disposal of hazardous
wastes. Specifications for a Certificate of Conformance may be obtained

Code (612) 370-2117. All required data supporting the request for a
Certificate of Conformance for any product must be received in
duplicate no later than January 27, 1995. A fixed price requirements
contract. F.O. B. destination. The solicitation will be released on, or
