L -- ENGINEERING STUDIES, ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE AN/TPS-59 RADAR SOL M67854-95-R-3108 DUE 012995 POC Contact Ms. Ellen Simonoff, (703) 640-5822, x246, Contracting Officer. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a new sole source contract for engineering studies, analysis and technical support for the AN/TPS-59 radar to Sensis Corporation, DeWitt, NY. This contract will support missile defense capability research and development utilizing the AN/TPS-59 radar. Technical requirements will include the ability to operate Coerent Data Collection System (CDACS) and Portable Autonmous Report Collection System (PARCS). Additionally, the ability to modify existing software/firmware, and the ability to reconfigure hardware on the AN/TPS-59 radar and the Multiscan Collelator (MSC) to optimize performance is required. Support will also be required in optimizing AN/TPS-59 radar performance. The period of performance will commence approximately 1 May 1995 and include a one year option for another 10000 hours. No RFP is available for competitive bidding, however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement. See Note 22. (0003)
