The Naval Air Station (NAS), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for contractor support to operate a consolidated hazardous material control warehousing function (HAZMART) that involves the centralized receipt, storage, issuance and accountability of hazardous material (HM). The contractor support shall also include the transportation, segregation and/or consolidation storage and inventory of regulated hazardous waste (HW). Spill response and cleanup capabilities for minor hazardous substance spills on land and water is also required. These services will be performed at all activities and tennant activities onboard NAS, Patuxent River, MD; Solomons Annex, Solomons MD; Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, In-Service Engineering East, St. Inigoes, MD Period of Performance is 1 October 1995 through 30 September 2000. There is currently no incumbent performing this work. This requirement will be a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. A pre-proposal/site visit is planned.
