69 -- TRIDENT COMMAND AND CONTROL TEAM TRAINER OVERHAUL SOL N61339-95-R-0022 DUE 030195 POC Alan W. Wright, 407/380-4066, Contracting Officer, Ronald Dillon, 407/380-8385 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Divisions intends to issue a solicitation for the overhaul, by replacement of components, of the TRIDENT Command and Control (CCS) Team Trainers (Devices 21A42/A and 21B67/A), Ship Control Trainers (Devices 21C10/A and 11B99), and ESM Trainers (Device 10E2); installed at the Trident Training Facilities in Kings Bay, GA and Bangor, WA and at the Trident Unique Software Support Facility in Newport, RI. The components to be overhauled on the CCS Team Trainers are the peripheral processor and the instructor stations. The ship control hydraulic system will also be overhauled. This contract will also include options for overhaul of the Radio Frequency (RF) sources on the Electronic Support Measures (ESM) trainer, various single function CPUs on the CCS Team Trainers, the microvax on the ESM trainer, the SEL computer in the ship control trainer, the hard copy units in the CCS team trainers and a time and materials option to cover emerging work. The contract is contemplated to be awarded in August 1995. Should all options be exercised, the period of performance would conclude five years after award.
