The Minerals Management Service intends to issue a request-for-comment (RFC) on/about 1/15/95 for maintenance of its IBM equipment including 3174 communications control units (models O1L and O1R), display stations, 3274 communications control units (models C41 and D41), printers (remote graphics, remote matrix, line), direct access storage, magnetic tape unit, display station, control unit (cartridge tape), magnetic tape unit (cartridge), 3725 communications controller (model 002), 3745 communications controller (model 170), operator console, tape controller, and DASD controllers. Maintenance will include preventive and remedial services (on-call). On-call services will be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The equipment is located on or near the Denver Federal Center, Denver, Colorado. The contract will be for a 1-year period beginning 10/1/95 and will contain options for four additional 1-year periods. Comments will be due approximately 30 days after the issued date.
