This VA has aproximately 20 building sites for pick-up located on 255 acres. Contractor to provide all materials and training required to implement and maintain a comprehensive recycling program to include the recycling of cardboard, cans glass and plastic bottles. Program includes provision of all containers for the collection, storage and removal of trash and recyclables. Hazardous waste and infectious/medical waste are NOT within the scope of this contract. Issue date is A/O 1/23/95. To be eligible for award, an offeror must be a qualified refuse company meeting all local, State and Federal requirements for proper disposal. The base period for this requirement commences on or about 4/1/95 and ends on September 30, 1995, with four one year options.
