Point, Arlene Berry COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ADVERTISEMENT The
Resolution Trust Corporation (''RTC''), is seeking to identify
prospective contractors to produce and record Assignments of Beneficial
Interest under Deeds of Trust or Mortgages for approximately 16,700
single family mortgage loans. The RTC will assign its beneficial
interest in the subject Deeds of Trust to a new servicer. The
Contractor will collect all the necessary information from the original
Deeds of Trust to create the Assignments and prepare a template of the
Assignment for RTC's approval. Once the Contractor's format has been
approved, the Contractor will print the Assignments in batches, either
by investor group or County. The Contractor will deliver batches of
Assignments to the RTC for signature and notarization, along with an
estimate of the recording fees per County. The Contractor will record
the Assignments in the appropriate County Recorder's office.
Contractors interested in receiving Solicitation of Services No.
783-94-0337 must send an original and one copy of a notification letter
on company letterhead, which affirmatively states the firm has the
capacity and demonstrated experience to perform the services as
described above. The letter must include the firm's federal tax
identification number, license number(s) and be signed by an officer of
the firm. Interested firms must send 1) a resume not to exceed five
pages confirming your firm's qualifications; and 2) a list of specific
projects of similar size and complexity which the contractor has
performed on within the last 3 years. RTC will entertain only one offer
from each contractor. It is the intent of the RTC to distribute a
Solicitation to qualified respondents to this advertisement meeting the
qualifications and appropriate experience, as determined by RTC. Firms
shall indicate whether they are a Minority or Woman Owned Business
(''MWOB'') or identify their proposed level of MWOB participation.
Qualified MWOB's and participants in a joint venture with an MWOB will
be given additional consideration. All notification letters must be
received as verified by RTC, on or before 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time,
January 30, 1995, and addressed to Resolution Trust Corporation, ATTN:
Arlene Berry, Contracting Officer, 4000 MacArthur Boulevard, Contracts
Department, Second Floor Newport Beach, CA 92660. Notification letters
received after this time or which do not conform with all of the above
instructions will be deemed non- responsive. RTC is not subject to the
