The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington (FISCNORDETWASH) has a requirement for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (PESO) to procure an air compressor, 125 PSI, 850 CFM, including installation, and an optional five uits. The compressor shall be designed to operate on single service 460 volts (+/-10%), three phase, 60 Hertz, 400 Amp. The air compressor shall be a single stage, rotary screw, lubricated, air cooled, electric motor driven, totally enclosed packaged compressor unit. The unit shall be interconnected with the existing Ingersoll-Rand EP-200, Serial #D3627 air compressor. The contractor shall provide all necessary controls to provide automatic start/stop sequencing between the existing unit and the new air compressor. The new unit shall be provided complete with all necessary pipes, lubricants, valves, safety features, and shall require only connection to services and utilities to become operational. The unit shall be rated 850 CFM @ 125 PSI pressure at the compressor discharge. The Maximum Modulating Pressure shall be not less than 135 PSIG and the Minimum Modulating Pressure shall be not more than 65 PSIG. The Coolant System Carryover shall be not more than 2 PPM.
