FISC San Diego Regional Contracts Dept. intends to contract for Class II Boom (Qty 2500 ft.), Slickbar Mark 7 Model 7-24 or EQUAL. The product shall be high strength, heavy duty and highly flexible. The skirt material should be made of woven Kevlar 3000 Denier 10 x 10 coated with urethane, or equal and with a tensil strength of 1000 lbs/inch of width. It shall be 24 inches high and in 100 ft. sections, 10.5 x 24 inch flotation with ASTM F962 connectors. There shall also be leaded ballast, hardened with antimony and securely riveted to the bottom of the skirt and have stainless steel fasteners. FOB San Diego, California 45 days after award.
