Ramos, Contracting Officer, 904-882-5628. PRESOLICTATION NOTICE. Construct a Hazardous Waste Supply/Storage, and Construct a Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point, Eglin AFB, FL. Bid opening date of 13 March 1995 is only an estimated date. The first part of the project is to Construct a Hazardous Waste Supply/Storage, Eglin AFB, FL. This project includes the construction of a pre-engineered metal building and related sitework. The work shall include a reinforced concrete slab on grade, pre-engineered metal building on steel framing, steel doors and frames, overhead coiling doors, interior gypsum board partitions, painting, acoustical ceilings, ceramic title, resilient flooring, toilet partitions and accessories, asphalt paving and other site improvements, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm requirements. This part of the project is subject to a statutory cost limitation of $300,000. The second part of the project is to construct a Hazardous Waste Accumulation Points, Eglin AFB, FL. This part of the project shall consist of three (3) 10-drum capacity, pre-fabricated modular storage/containment structures. The three structures are to be positioned in a courtyard configuration and covered by a vaulted translucent polycarbonate canopy. One shall be for storage of corrosive materials. The floor shall be covered by a secondary containment modular flooring system anchored to a reinforced concrete slabon grade on two feet of compacted fill. The work also includes a paved access road and other site improvements. Estimated range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a 100% Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Set-Aside.
