N -- DISASSEMBLY/RELOCATION OF A TROJAN SIMULATOR SOL RS-AED-95-269 DUE 012395 POC Mary H. Mace, Contracting Officer, 301/415-7314, Contract Specialist, John Eastman, 301/415-6590 The Contractor shall relocate the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant Simulator and the Westinghouse dummy fuel assembly and control rod cluster training aid from their present locations at the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant in Ranier, Oregon to the NRC Technical Training Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Contractor shall be responsible for the installation and testing of the simulator at the TTC to ensure its operability after the move. It is estimated that the removal from the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant will occur mid-calendar year 1995. The period of performance is 24 months. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all concerns, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. A source list comprising the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of all concerns requesting a copy of the solicitation, with large businesses identified by an asterisk, will be provided with the solicitation. In order to identify large businesses on the list, a request for the solicitation should indicate the size of the business based upon a SIC code of 8999. The size standard for this solicitation is $3.5 million. In order to allow small concerns sufficient time to contact you for possible subcontracting opportunities, you are encouraged to make your request for the solicitation prior to the solicitation issuance date. A copy of the solicitation and all subsequent amendments will be provided to each requester.
