This requirement is for the delivery and quality acceptance of wideband couplers capable of mixing two electrical input signals into one output port while providing isolation between the two input signal ports. The data input port signal bandwidth shall be DC to 1 gighertz, while the mixed second signal input bandwidth shall be 1 megahertz to 500 megahertz. The insertion loss for both ports shall be no greater than 6 dB, while the isolation between input ports is at least 28 dB at 500 megahertz. The data input port and output port shall have TYPE TNC female connectors, while the mixed signal input port shall have a TYPE BNC female connector. The characteristic impedance for all three ports shall be 50 ohms. Delivery shall be FOB Arnold Air Station and shall be required within 90 days after contract award. Firms responding to this announcement shall do so in writing and indicate whether they are a small or small minority concern. Foreign competition is allowed. (0017)
