Carroll, (509)522-6816 Furnish all parts, labor and materials to pack and transport one set of twelve (12) hydroelectric generator thrust bearing stationary shoe segments located at Little Goose Dam, 55 miles N.E. of Walla Walla, Washington, (these have recently been removed from service); test, analyze and report damage to babbitt material removed from the shoe segments; rehabilitate the shoe segments; and pack and transport the shoe segments to McNary Dam, Umatilla, Oregon, for storage. The thrust bearing is for a vertical-shaft Kaplan type turbine rated at 212,400 horsepower, 90 rpm and 94 feet net head. The shoe segments have a nominal inside diameter of 47-1/2 inches, a nominal outside diameter of 122-1/2 inches and a nominal thickness of 3 inches.
