Establishment and operation of A travel management Center forthe U.S.
Secret service, headquartered in Washington, DC with an estimated $11
million in air ticket sales annually. The headquarters office requires
an on-site office with equipment capable of generating 24 hour A Day
receipt of airline and train tickets and itineraries and boarding
passes. There shall be one centralized off-site 24 hour, seven Day A
week, 365 Day A year fully staffed and operational reservation Center
with toll-free phone lines, located in the Washington, DC metropolitan
area. This Center must have atotally secured reservation system
exclusively for use with this account, and connected to the on-site
office. This office shall be staffed 24 hours with Personnel dedicated
solely to Secret Service. The contractor shall provide approximately
72 STP'S nationwide, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico and shall provide
additional STP'S as required resulting from events involving
significant protective activity. All employees proposed for the account
must pass A rigid background investigation, conducted by the Secret
Service, sufficient to qualify for A top secret clearance with the
defense investigative service. In order to have A proposal considered,
the offeror must be located in or be Willing to relocate to the
Washington, DC metropolitan area; the offeror'S annual air ticket sales
must be at least 75% of all their annual sales; and, offeror must have
serviced at least five accounts of $300,000 or more for at least one
year by the date of submission of an offer. A minimum mandatory rebate
will berequired. All offeror'S shall NOTE that this is A NO-COST
contract. The Solicitation will be issued on or about February 2, 1995
and will Close on or about April 8, 1995. The contract will be for one
year with four option years to be exercised at the Government's
discretion. A request must be received in writing only to the above
