23 -- MEDIUM AND HEAVY VEHICLES SOL FCAP-V5-21999-N DUE 031595 POC Jim Vogelsinger (703) 308-4193 The Government intends to issue A Solicitation for the following vehiclerequirements: General purpose 50' platform height aerial device (estimated 24 units annually); material handling 50' platform height aerial device (estimated 19 units annually); general purpose 70' platform height aerial device (estimated 5 units annually); material handling 65' platform height aerial device estimated 5 units annually); curbside cornermount 42' and 45' sheave height digger derricks (estimated 10 units annually); centermount behind CAB style 42' and 45' sheave height digger derricks (estimated 21 units annually); rearmount/over rear axle style 42' and 45' sheave height digger derricks estimated 19 units annually). Contracts resulting from this Solicitation will cover annual requirements for current Model year Commercial vehicles. Contract period will be may 1, 1995 or date of award (whichever is later) through April 30, 1996 with three (3) single year option periods. Estimated delivery is 150 to 210 days after receipt of order. Solicitation to be issued on or about February 6, 1995, and will Close approximately 35 days thereafter. Award will be made in aggregate.
