Center Blvd., Warwick, RI 02886-1747 C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR MARINE
ENGINEERING SERVICES Due 020795. POC: James Adamo, Contract Specialist,
401/736-1762. The U.S. Coast Guard requires an Indefinite
Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Professional Marine
Engineering services to conduct above and underwater marine surveys of
various waterfront installations. Typical task orders will include,
but are not limited to, preparing designs, specifications, and plans
for the repair and replacment of marine facilities including permitting
and cost estimates. Contract is for one year with a one year option.
Orders placed will not exceed the following limitations: No individual
order will exceed $200,000. The total amount of the basic contract
will not exceed $500,000 with a minimum contract guarantee of $5,000.
Option Year thresholds are same as base year, $200,000 per individual
order and $500,000 total option year. Projects are located within the
geographic boundaries of the First Coast Guard District which
encompasses facilities along the East Coast of the US from the
Maine/Canadian border to Toms River, NJ. Evaluation Criteria will
include in order of importance: 1) Professional qualifications to
perform services required; 2) Specialized experience, including that of
on-staff divers, to perform work required; 3) Capacity to accomplish
the work in required time; 4) Location of firm in geographical area of
Civil Engineering Unit, Providence, RI; 5) Past record of performance
in project scheduling, cost control and quality of work with other
government agencies or private sector clients. Firms which meet the
following requirements described and which to be considered are
required to submit SF-254's and SF-255's by close of business on

to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. THIS
NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMAN OWNED, AND
DISAVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation
(DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU), has a
program to assist minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
