Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD has a
requirement for a Contractor to furnish a Warm Isostatic Press
consisting of pressure vessel, reservoir, high pressure air-operated
intensifier, control panel, and all necessary valves, fittings, piping
and gauges. In addition, a digital pressure transducer with computer
output, an 8 wire plug feed through, band heaters, insulation jacket,
and temperature controller are included. Some specifications are: (l)
Pressure Vessel: Design Pressure and Temperature - 66,000 psig @ 400
degrees F (60,000 psig max. working); and Internal Dimensions - 6''
I.D. X 16'' I.L; (2) Connections - 3/8'' HP in the cover for an air
vent; (3) Pumping System - Air operated, intensifying type pump capable
of reaching 60,000 psig with approximately 100 psig air pressure.
Delivery is required within 3 months after award of the contract,
F.O.B. Destination. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which
