Fuesel FAX, Phone (703)604-3065 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure Sparrow Missile Guidance and Control Sections and/or Retrofit Kits and their installation, using Industrial Base Competition between Raytheon Company, Lowell, MA 01853, and Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, AZ 85734. As the Industrial Base Producers, Raytheon and HMSC possess the specialized knowledge, expertise and experience to manufacture Sparrow Missile Guidance and Control Sections (GCSs) and retrofit kits/installation. The proposed procurement covers a base year and two option years with requirements to range up to 1,000 GCSs per year and 1,000 retrofit kits/installations per year in support of USN, USAF and FMS requirements. Additional requirements may include technical data, administrative/financial data, quality and reliability requirements, repair requirements, and engineering services. This procurement is restricted to the above two producers for industrial mobilization purposes in the interest of national defense.
