The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, California intends to procure telemtry transmitters on a sole source basis from Loral/Conic, 9020 Balboa Ave., San Diego, CA. Pursuant to the authority granted by FAR 6.302-1 (one responsible source). This requirement is for 19 each miniature, airborne 6.0-watt S-Band Radio Frequency Telemetry transmitters, Loral/Conic Model CTS-905JH part number JHA1041370-24, qualified to the requirements of NAWC P392-057-811. The transmitters shall operate from a nominal 28 volt direct current power supply with a maximum input current of 1.45 amps; accept modulation inputs up to 3.0 MHz; and produce a frequency modulated RF output of nominally 6.0 watts at 2.2 to 2.3 GHz. The physical size of the transmitters shall be less than 5 cubic inches. The transmitters will be used for the NAWCWPNS/PM AN/DKT-71(V) Warhead Compatible Telemeters for Standard Missile Program. Delivery shall be as follows: Six each units 90 DAC; six each units 120 DAC, and seven each units 150 DAC. Delivery shall be FOB destination to the Naval Air Weapons Station, Point Mugu, CA 93042.
