Presolicitation conference: Defense reutilization marketing service (DRMS will be conducting A presolicitation conference at Defense Reutilization marketing office (DRMO) Warner Robins. The purpose of this conference is to review the material proposed to be on A pending Solicitation for the identification and removal of hazardous property from approximately 300,000 pounds of DOD excessed equipment located at Six different DRMO locations in Georgia-Warner Robins, Benning, Stewart, Gordon, VALDOSTA and Forest Park. This equipment will include primarily aviation electronic warfare equipment with other types of equipment to include, but not limitedto, test sets, gyroscopes, hydraulic test stands, industrial plantequipment, medical equipment, refrigerators, air conditioners/ coolers, ovens and other ''White goods''. The property is not separated according to type of equipment, and will be made available to the contractor in lots of 10,000 pounds. The contractor will be required to determine if hazardous property (HP) is present in each item or piece of equipment. HE must then properly identify, remove and containerize all HP and turn It and the scrap item over to the Government for disposal. The site visit will be Held 2 Mar 95 at 10:30 A.M., DRMO Warner Robins, Bldg 1602, Robins AFB, GA, with the presolicitation meeting following at 2:00 P.M. In the dowg conferenceroom, Robins AFB. Attendance at both these events is strongly encouraged to gain an understanding of the Solicitation requirements.
