Q -- INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM TRAINING CONFERENCES FOR RURAL MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS SOL HRSA-240-BHPr-8(5)CB DUE 031095 POC Contact Point, Carlton Brown, (301)443-5672, Contracting Officer, Steven Zangwill, (301)443-5672 The Health Resources and Services Administration is solicitating for proposals for sources qualified under Section 767 of Title VII of the PHS Act, which is restricted to schools, universities, or other educational entities (public or nonprofit private), which provide for rural health providers and community-based, modular curriculum for training interdisciplinary teams of mental health care providers in rural areas. The contractor shall solicit and select 30 individuals who will assist their rural communities in implementing the previously developed curriculum. The contractor shall teach the structure and content of the curriculum and prepare the individual to implement the model interdisciplinary program in their communities as well as provide the nesessary skills for evaluation of programs. The contractor shall provide support on a consultation basis for participants through a networking system and provide faculty, logistical support and materials for the training seminar. The contractor shall provide three workshops and locate the training sites. The contractor must be capable of providing follow up support for individuals who return to their communities to implement a rural interdisciplinary mental health curriculum. All responsible sourses may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The Solicitation number RFP HRSA-240-BHPr-8(5)CB will be issued on or about February 10, 1995.
