Correction: This notice is to correct in their entirety the CBD announcement #223-95-5530 which appeared on December 1, 1994 and CBD announcement #223-95-5561 which appeared on December 13, 1994. The Food and Drug Administration has a requirement for maintenance of 3Com networking equipment located in various cities across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Services shall include on call service from 8:00am to 7:00pm EST, seven (7) days per week, timely repair (eight (8) clock hours); and network engineering services which include troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Services are required for the period from date of award through twelve (12) months thereafter with four twelve (12) month option periods. The evaluation criteria for technical proposals are: 1) The contractor shall have technical and/or engineering personnel available by telephone to receive problems and provide guidance; 2) The Contractor shall have technical and/or engineering personnel available to provide on-site maintenance for network problems that cannot be solved by telephone support; 3) Provide references from at least three (3) sources to ensure ability to perform the above types of maintenance and engineering functions; and 4) Show the ability to support all software and firmware updates and upgrades to OEM specifications. All requests must be submitted in writing to the attention of Christopher Wright referencing Solicitation No. 223-95-5530. The solicitation will be available approximately fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice. The SIC code is 7378 and this requirement is for full and open competition.
