J -- RESTORATION OF HYDROPHONES & TRANSDUCERS SOL N66604-95-R-0915 POC Contact Carol Gorman, Contracting Officer at (203) 440-6155 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Detachment New London, intends to solicit competitive proposals for the restoration of the following: DT-511A/511B/WLR-9 Hydrophones, DT- 592 Hydrophones, DT-605 Hydrophones, TR-302 Transducers and TR-321/ BQC Transducers. A three-year Indefinite Delivery (Indefinite Quantity) contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions for parts, each level of repair, and related services is planned. Restorations shall be done at the contractor's facility; offerers shall have production and test facilities. Technical and cost proposals are required for a low cost, technically acceptable evaluation. Multiple awards may be made. Acquisition history: EDO is present supplier of TR-302; Hazeltine is the supplier of DT-605 now restored at Government facilities; Magnavox is present supplier and only restorer of DT-511, present supplier of DT-592 and its parts; Raytheon SSD is previous supplier of TR-302 and DT-592; SEA Beam/ ITC is present supplier of TR-321.
