Engineering and Technical Services Support of the F-15 Fire Control
Radar System and Associated Weapons Control Systems. This effort may
include up to 60 man months of support during the period of 1 Oct 1995
through 30 Sep 2000. The effort is composed of a basic year and four
(4) one-year optoins. A contractor field services person (CFSP) must
have access to and an understanding of technical data necessary to
develop, instrument, maintain, and operate radar systems, radar system
test benches, radar system mockups and provide instruction of these
systems to Department of Defense personnel, so they can do the same.
The CFSP must be capable of providing real-time technical advise to
assist DOD personnel with weapons system test planning and evaluation
of proposed test scenarios. These services shall be in connection with
diagnosing and correcting problems which represent general system
deficiencies associated with the weapon system, its electronic
counter-counter measures (ECCM) performance and software/hardware
modifications. The contractor shall provide timely in-plant support of
on-site contractor personnel to include analysis, engineering and
administrative support. Likewise, the contractor shall provide training
for the assigned CFSP to ensure currency in operation, instrumentation,
modification and maintenance of the weapons systems. This training
shall be performed, as a minimum, during four one-week sessions per
year. Security Clearance will be required to successful offeror. A
technical sufficiency evaluation will be performed. The proposed
solicitation shall require offerors to identify their technical
capabilities including but not limited to technical resumes, corporate
management experience, and other pertinent personnel. A Firm-Fixed
Price Contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal which will be considered. All requests must be in writing. The
date for receipt of proposals is not definite, but will be no earlier
than 30 days after date of issuance. Award of a contract will be for
one year with four, one year options. This proposal is solicited on an
unrestricted basis under standard industrial classification code 8711.
