A -- INDEPENDENT ANALYSIS OF THE SENSOR FUZED WEAPON (SFW) POC Mike Sullivan, Contracting Officer, 904-882-3416, ext 3163; for technical information contact Charles Reuter, 904-882-4871, ext 3018. The ongoing Systems Analysis Effort is in support of the Sensor Fuzed Weapon (SFW), Joint Standoff Weapon, and Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser programs. This effort must provide total continuity in the scientific and analytical analysis of the system/subsystem technical data and test efforts for the previously identified programs, and provide continued (uninterrupted) support of the models and simulations used in the test and analysis of the various systems and subsystems of the programs. This procurement will be a modification to an existing contract to increase the level of effort by 1.5 man-years. It is anticipated that only one source, Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego CA the sole Independent Analysis contractor through the development and LRIP of the SFW, can satisfy the Government's minimum needs for this support effort for three critical major programs. The Letter Request for Proposal (RFP), to amend the existing contract, is anticipated to be released in Feb 95.
