Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to; the removal of doors, frames, louvers, and windows, portions of exterior masonry walls, concrete walks, curbs, steps, shrubs, trees, HVAC system, plumbing system, electrical system, asbestos removal from all piping and from vinyl asbestos floor tiles exposed or under carpeting. The provision of brick and concrter masonry, windows, doors, and frames, concrete walks and curbs, entrance canopy, interior partitions, doors, frames, and ceilings, toilet rooms, laundry, conference, and lounge areas, HVAC system, electrical system, fire alarm system, telephone and communication systems, new exterior stairs and railings. The repair of building 2708 will be in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings forming parts thereof, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Performance period is 365 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. A solicitation will be issued on or about 28 February 1995. The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to Small Disadvantaged Businesses. Standard Industrial Classification code for this procurement is 1522. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0 million dollars.
