Springer, 304/480-6465 Public Debt intends to procure QMF Performance and Administration Tools (QMF Compiler and resource manager) with technical/maintenance support on a seventy-two month systems life. The software must meet the following minimum requirements: Must operate on an AMDAHL 5990 (Models 700 through 1400) or compatible mainframe system with MVS/ESA, VTAM, JES2, and CA-ACF2; Capability to operate in both an TSO/QMF and CICS/QMF environments; Must be able to generate stand alone source code, supporting QMF functionality, in the following languages: OS COBOL, COBOL II from existing QMF objects; Allows integration of compiled QMF procedures executed by the end-user into PD's existing customized ISPF panel selection menus. The reports available for selection can be either QMF or COBOL; Present/produce output in the same format for QMF and COBOL reports. The type of program being executed, should be transparent to the end user; Allow for the reports to be run in both batch and online modes; Maintain existing QMF functionality; Must be able to view report online and produce hard copies of reports to local and remote mainframe printers; Provide performance monitoring capabilities for QMF reports and maintenance of QMF performance history; Handle QMF administrative functions online for: QMF object migration, user profile maintenance and QMF performance monitoring; Maintain compatibility with future releases of QMF; Provide comprehensive user manuals/documentation; Provide training for approximately 25 Public Debt personnel, comprised of computer programmers and computer specialists.
