intends to make a single award Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Repair
and Alteration of Real Property. Scope of Work includes, but is not
limited to the following: site work, excavation, drainage, utilities,
roads, concrete, masonry, tile, steel, rough and finish carpentry,
cabinets, roofing, siding, sheetmetal, doors, windows, glazing, pipe
fitting, plumbing, electrical, fire extinguishing and alarm systems,
heating, cooling and air conditioning systems, and electrical
distribution systems. The resultant contract will be an indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity contract which will include a base period
(12 months) and two option periods. The estimated magnitude of this
project is more than $10,000,000. Contractor awarded the contract will
be responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and operating a computer
system which is compatible with the Government computer system and
networks. Each computer will be fully capable of running MICROSOFT
windows NT (VER 3.5 or later). The Contractor's systems must be fully
capable of running the following software applications and upgrades as
they are implemented by the Government: MICROSOFT products- WORD 6.0,
ACCESS 2.0, POWERPOINT 4.0, EXCEL 5.0; INTERGRAPH/BENTLEY products-
MICROSTATION V, MGE, VISTAMAP, JOC UNIT PRICE BOOK (UPB) software and
others as specified to provide interconnectivety with Government
systems. SIC Code is 1542. This proposed acquisition is being
synopsized as 100% Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) set-aside provided
adequate interest (IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation) is shown by SDB
concerns. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the
solicitation will be issued as unrestricted (full and open
competition) without further notice from this office, therefore,
responses to this synopsis is requested from any interested concerns.
SDB concerns should respond in writing NLT 28 February 1995 of (1)
their intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor, (2) their
statement of eligibility as an SDB concern, and (3) specific
information which demonstrates their capability to perform projects of
this complexity and magnitude. Tentaive issuance date is on or about
March 10, 1995. Telephone requests will not be honored. A
non-refundable deposit of $60.00 is required with request for the
