This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources or alternate sources for the Radio Set AN/ARS-6(V)1, NSN: 5821-01-251-9555, part number D6003042. The current source for this equipment is Cubic Defense Systems Inc., Sub of Cubic Corp., San Diego, CA. Complete detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing an alternate unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-ED-GA-1, Ft.Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier is a vendor to the current source or a statement from the current source or ATCOM demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair parts level with units that the current source supplies for this NSN. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily completed testing for this application will be procured.
