68 -- REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT FOR SWIMMING POOLS CHEMICALS SOL DAKF23-95-B-0017 DUE 041495 POC Contract Specialist, Kevin Day, (502)798-7824, Contracting Officer, Gertrude A. Colbert, (502) 798-7566 This is a twelve month requirements contract with one (1) twelve month option period for swimming pool chemicals required for six (6) pools located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Contractor shall provide an estimated 16,050 gallons of liquid chlorine (commercial bleach) and an estimated 1,070 gallons of muriatic acid on an as needed basis. Contractor shall also furnish, install and maintain the following equipment: (a) Chemical Pumps: (liquid chlorine) - five (5) each 44 gallon per day and one (1) each 94 gallon per day; (muriatic acid) - six (6) each 22 gallon per day; (b) Bleach Tanks: One (1) 600 gallon capacity; four (4) 400 gallon capacity; one (1) 300 gallon capacity; (c) Acid Tanks: Five (5) 30 gallon capacity and one (1) 15 gallon capacity. All tanks, pumps and related equipment shall remain the property of the contractor. Anticipated base period of performance is from 1 May 1995 through 30 April 1996. During the swimming season, (15 May - 1 Sep) the contractor shall be required to deliver chemicals and check equipment every ten (10) days. Five of the six pools will require chemicals from approximately 1 May 95 through 1 September 96 only. The remaining pool requires chemicals through out the twelve (12) month performance period This acquisition is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5169.
