The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include constructing two 36-inch-diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) drops and one 24-inch-diameter CMP drop and seeding appoximately 3 acres of disturbed areas. The estimated cost of the work is $25,001 to $100,000. The work is situated along the existing Fullerton Canal at three work sites in Howard and Nance Counties. The canal is located 4 miles north of St. Paul, Nebraska. Solicitation packages will be available approximately March 17, 1995. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before March 10, 1995. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m., April 18, 1995, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Nebraska-Kansas Area Office, 203 West Second Street, Grand Island, Nebraska. The contract must be completed within 60 days after receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional copies will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for each copy. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed., without charge, at the following offices of the Bureau of Rclamation: Great Plains Regional Office, Federal Building, Room 2025, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana; and the Nebraska-Kansas Area Office, 203 West Second Street, Grand Island, Nebraska. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to business status, including identification as to whether small, large, minority-owned, and/or woman-owned. For this acquisition, the small business size standard is $17,000,000 and the standard industrial classification code is 1699.
