This is a revision of a previous Commerce Business Daily (CBD) announcement published February 4, 1992. The solicitation number shall change from BEP-92-08(TN) to BEP-95-49(TN). The period of performance is revised from one (1) base year and four (4) 12-month option renew periods to one (1) base year and two (2) 6-month option renew periods. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to negotiate sole source services with Cardkey Systems, Inc, 101 W Cochren Street, Simi Valley, CA 93065 for the Repair Preventative Maintenance and Technical Assistance on its PASS Security System under Solicitation BEP-95-49(TN). The PASS Security System must be fully operational at all times. This solicitation requires that software and hardware support be provided and assistance given with respect to proper programming, system integration, rerouting and limited training. The BEP's PASS System operates on Cardkey proprietary software and hardware, in which Cardkey holds the source code. Any responses to this notice must be received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this notice providing sufficient information relative to performing the services required. (058)
