Command intends to exercise options under contract N00019-93-C-0148
with Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI), Defense Systems and
Electronics Group, P.O. Box 405, M/S 3137, Lewisville, TX 75067-0405
for the High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) of the Fiscal Year
1995 (FY95) modification program and FMS hardware. The Navy will also
procure all associated spares, engineering support to install change
kits off-site, and technical, administrative, and logistics data
necessaary to support the FY95 requirements. TI is the designer,
developer, and sole producer of the AGM-88 HARM weapon system, and the
only known firm possessing the knowledge and intimate familiarity with
the HARM design manufacturing requirements, critical hardware, and
software interface needed to supply the FY95 requirements. See note No.
