The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for Pollution Prevention Program Support. The purpose of this contract will be to develop initiatives to integrate pollution prevention in its programs and policies, and to promote the adoption of prevention measures on the part of industry, states and local governments. Tasks include economic, scientific, engineering, regularatory/legislative and institutional analyses, communication and training, analysis of environmental protection progress and forecasting trends, and program evaluation. The planned period of performance for this procurement is a one-year base period with four option years. The planned level-of-effort is 35,000 professional hours for the base period and for each of the four option years, with an option to increase the level-of-effort by up t 17,500 in 4,375 hour increments at additional cost per increments. The SIC code is 8731 and the small business standard is 500 employees or less. A limited number of solicitation copies are available.
