This announcement also serves as a solicitation notice. Work involves removal of twenty-four (24) underground fuel storage tanks (USTS) and installation of nine (9) new tanks including one underground fuel storage tank, oil/water separators, and two above ground fuel storage tanks. Work also includes associated piping removal/replacement and site work (fencing/pavements, etc). Portions of the project will be accomplished on the grounds of a civilian commercial airport following the provisions of an FAA-approved safety and phasing plan. The project is estimated to cost between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This invitation for bids is set aside for small disadvantaged businesses. The SIC code 1629 applies to this solicitation the small business standard that applies to this code is $17 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
